Prevention of Labour Risks

Spain – Information, Training and Promotion of Compliance with Labour Security and Labour Health Norms: For the Foundation for Prevention of Labour Risks (FPRL) / the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, CIFESAL has implemented a series of projects on awareness raising and technical assistance regarding the prevention of labour risks. These projects imply the analysis of the situation with respect to labour risks in diverse sectors, awareness raising activities amongst entrepreneurs and workers, benchmarking against best practices and elaboration of pertinent recommendations for improvement. Spain – Promotion for the Improvement of Security and Health at Work: For the Agriculture and Cattle Dealer Association (COAG) / the Government of Castilla y Leon, CIFESAL has implemented a series of projects on awareness raising and technical assistance regarding the prevention of labour risks. These projects imply the analysis of the situation with respect to labour risks in diverse sectors and awareness raising activities amongst entrepreneurs and workers, benchmarking against best practices and elaboration of pertinent recommendations for improvement. Spain – Master Plan for the Prevention of Labour Risks for the Madrid Region: For the Region of Madrid, CIFESAL has implemented a series of projects on awareness raising and technical assistance regarding the prevention of labour risks. These projects imply the analysis of the situation with respect to labour risks in diverse sectors and awareness raising activities amongst entrepreneurs and workers, benchmarking against best practices and elaboration of pertinent recommendations for improvement. Each project constitutes a specific campaign for a sector related to a workers union or management association. The beneficiary companies are active in the following sectors: Textile, cleaning, food and small commerce. (2003-2007, European Commission-European Social Fund)

Spain – Expert Diploma in Prevention of Labour Risks: Through financing from the European Social Fund, CIFESAL has provided support to the coordination, organisation and implementation of courses in Prevention of Labour Risks with specialisation in Labour Security. The courses were directed at unemployed women with university education and lead to an Expert Diploma in Prevention of Labour Risks upon successful completion.
