First Progress Meeting of the Project PrMaCLT (Promotion of Matching Competences in Language Training)

On the 1st and 2nd June 2010, the first progress meeting of project PrMaCLT (Promotion of Matching Competences in Language Training) promoted by CIFESAL took place in Antwerp (Belgium)

This event organised by the University of Antwerp was useful to close the first phase of the project, in which different aspects related to methodologies adapted to competence-based language training were analysed. In the six participating countries 12 real cases were taken as a basis to launch an hypothesis in Autumn 2010 on the fundamental elements that are needed to enable the match between the requirements of the organisations demanding the courses and the expectations of the learners and teachers, in terms of linguistic competences.
